What are the different applications used with permeable?

Anywhere a free draining material is needed in conjunction with other lightweight benefits.

What are the advantages of using Geofill instead of lightweight aggregate?

  • Geofill LD weighs considerably less.
  • Geofill is less expensive.
  • Geofill is easily re-excavated.
  • Geofill is self-leveling and can be pumped into areas that are hard to access.
  • Geofill requires no compaction.
What are the advantages of using Geofill instead of EPS Blocks?
  • Geofill is not susceptible to damage from petroleum.
  • Geofill is less expensive.
  • Geofill can be pumped into areas that are hard to access.
  • Geofill can be used in applications where high permeability is required.

Mixonsite utilized a Geofill Hybrid material containing anti-washout admixtures to fill an abandoned ash pit at the Consolidated Edison site in Brooklyn, NY. Free water within the pit was removed during placement to maintain the specified pit water level.

MixOnSite pumped Geofill LD cellular concrete material nearly 3 miles at Brightwater East tunnel project. Material produced on site with high production equipment featuring colloidal mixers.

MixOnSite recently developed an innovative foam product to transport solid materials such as mine tailings or waste crusher sands through a pipeline.
