Pressure grouting is used for a wide variety of civil and geotechnical applications including ground improvement/modification, control of ground water and environmental containment.  To determine proper means and methods on any pressure grouting project, it is necessary to evaluate engineering needs, subsurface conditions, material choices, access problems and economic issues.  
 
Slurry grouting was used on the tunnel project depicted on this page to fill voids between the soil/rock mass and the existing tunnel structure.  Due to traffic control considerations, all work was performed during evening and weekend hours.
